This year there is a slight change to the KS2 SATS dates due to the additional bank holiday for the King's Coronation. As a result, the SATS will start on Tuesday rather than Monday but still on the same week as normal.
The dates are:
Tuesday 9 May: English grammar, punctuation and spelling (GPS) papers 1 (questions) and 2 (spelling)
Wednesday 10 May: English reading paper
Thursday 11 May: mathematics papers 1 (arithmetic) and 2 (reasoning)
Friday 12 May: mathematics paper 3 (reasoning)
Some schools had special plans for Friday 12th May which may be rescheduled. If it wasn't possible to rearrange these, schools may be allowed to move the final maths paper to the following week. You should make sure you check with the school to see if this is the case.
If you think that your child needs a little extra help in the run-up to the tests, please check out how I can help.
