GCSE Exam Dates 2023

This year the GCSE students will not be given any advanced notice about the topics in the test as the previous two years have been. However, it has been recognised that their learning was disrupted by COVID and as such they have been given formulae sheets in maths and physics.


Below are the dates for all the core subjects and others that I help tutor. Your school should provide you with a personalised timetable nearer the time.

  • 16th May - Biology Paper 1 (AM)

  • 17th May - English Literature Paper 1 (AM)

  • 18th May - History Paper 1 (AM)

  • 19th May - Maths Non-Calculator Paper 1 (AM)

  • 23rd May - Chemistry Paper 1 (AM)

  • 24th May - English Literature Paper 2 (AM)

  • 25th May - Physics Paper 1 (AM)

W/C 29th May - HALF TERM

  • 5th June - English Language Paper 1 (AM)

  • 6th June - Maths Calculator Paper 2 (AM)

  • 7th June - History Paper 2 (PM)

  • 7th June - Further Maths Paper 1 (PM)

  • 9th June - Biology Paper 2 (PM)

  • 12th June - English Language Paper 2 (AM)

  • 13th June - Chemistry Paper 2 (AM)

  • 14th June - Maths Calculator Paper 3 (AM)

  • 16th June - Physics Paper 2 (AM)

  • 21st June - Further Maths Paper 2 (PM)

  • 23rd June - Additional Maths (PM)
