ABOUT ME
I'm Katie B! I'm a tutor with a Masters in Medicine, Science and Society from King's College London. I love to read and learn - which is something that I aim to pass on to others especially my students. My aim is to equip my students with the skills they will need to pass their exams and be successful throughout life.
Why do I tutor?
I love helping others and hope to inspire multiple generations to achieve their goals, aspirations and dreams. In my experience, it is confidence that students lack rather than ability. With some help, this can increase in time and help them flourish. I'm privileged to be able to be a part of that process.
Teaching isn’t just ingraining information into students’ minds to memorise — it’s about providing them with the tools they need in order to think critically and succeed. I believe that successful teaching changes habits, and ultimately improves quality of life.
